INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is always the best for a natural Vitamin boost)
1 Banana, sliced
4 soft, Nature’s Delight pitted dates
1 cup almond milk
1/2 teaspoon ginger, crushed
1 teaspoon seeds (try chia, pumpkin or even flax)
Pinch salt and (optional)
METHOD
In a microwave-safe cup, combine the orange juice and dates. Microwave them on high for 15 seconds. Pour them into a blender with the remaining ingredients.
Blend all ingredients to a puree. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight to cool, or (if you can’t wait) throw some ice in and serve immediately.
